This isnt my attempt at the art challenge will get that done soon as i make my mind up about what i wanna do. Thought id post this to make my first contribution. This piece was to practise painting in colour and tone plus I've wanted to do it for a while now. Would like to re-imagine the armour at some point in the future.
Your anatomy and proportions are working well for you here. Also, nice backlighting. This guy is totally going to kick your arse. Next step would be getting more natural flow into the pose, and perhaps a re-worked anubis head - I know you know that :)
